Installation Guide — VybeDraft Product Uploader for WooCommerce

Get up and running in under 5 minutes. This guide walks you through installing the plugin, connecting your AI provider, and automatically generating complete, high-converting WooCommerce product listings from product images and titles.

Requirements

Before installing, make sure your WordPress site meets the following minimum requirements:

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1 — Install the Plugin

Option A: Install from WordPress Plugin Directory (Free Version)

Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
Go to Plugins → Add New Plugin.
Search for: VybeDraft Product Uploader.
Click Install Now, then click Activate.

Option B: Upload via WordPress Dashboard (Pro .zip)

In your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Plugins → Add New Plugin.
Click Upload Plugin at the top.
Click Choose File and select your vybedraft-pro-uploader.zip file.
Click Install Now, then click Activate Plugin.

Option C: Upload via FTP / File Manager

Extract vybedraft-pro-uploader.zip on your computer.
Upload the extracted folder to /wp-content/plugins/ on your server.
In WordPress, go to Plugins → Installed Plugins and click Activate.

Step 2 — Get Your AI API Key

VybeDraft is a BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) plugin — you connect directly to your own AI provider account. Your keys are stored encrypted in your local WordPress database and never shared with middleman servers.

Choose your preferred AI vision provider and grab an API key:

Google Gemini: Google AI Studio (Fastest vision processing & free tier available)
OpenAI: OpenAI Platform (GPT-4o, GPT-4o Mini)
Anthropic: Anthropic Console (Claude 3.7 Sonnet, Claude 3.5 Haiku)
OpenRouter: OpenRouter Keys (Access 200+ models with a single balance)

Step 3 — Configure the Plugin

In your WordPress sidebar, go to Products → Uploader Settings (or VybeDraft Pro Uploader → Settings).
Configure the following fields:

AI Platform: Select your active provider (Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or OpenRouter).
AI Model: Choose your vision-capable model (e.g. Gemini 2.5 Flash, GPT-4o Mini, Claude 3.7 Sonnet).
API Key: Paste your API key from Step 2.
SKU Prefix: (Optional) Set a custom SKU prefix for auto-generated product SKUs (e.g., VYBE- or STORE-).
Default Product Status: Choose whether generated listings save as Draft (recommended for review) or Publish Immediately.
Custom Brand Prompt: Tailor the AI’s writing style, tone, bullet-point format, or language (e.g., “Write in an energetic, premium streetwear tone. Include bullet points for materials and sizing advice.” or “Write all product descriptions in German.”).

Click Save Settings.

Step 4 — Generate Your First Post

Single Product Generation

Navigate to Products → VybeDraft Uploader.
Enter the Product Title (e.g. “Men’s Classic Leather Oxford Shoes”).
Upload the Product Photo (Vision AI analyzes colors, textures, materials, and key design details).
Enter Regular Price and optional Sale Price.
Select or add Categories and Product Type (Simple or Variable).
Click Generate Listing.

The AI will generate an engaging long description, a bulleted short description, unique SKU, categories, and tags, creating a ready-to-publish WooCommerce product draft!

Bulk Product Generation (Pro Exclusive)

Scale your store catalog with two fast bulk generation workflows under Products → Bulk Uploader:

Method A: Bulk Image Drop & Filename Parsing

Drag and drop multiple product photos at once. VybeDraft automatically parses filenames to set product titles and prices:

Step 5 — Schedule Product Drops & Launches

Go to Products → Product Scheduler.
Switch between Calendar View and Table View to manage upcoming product releases.
Self-Healing WP-Cron: Built-in background recovery ensures missed launch dates are automatically caught and published without delay.

Troubleshooting

"WooCommerce is not active" error

VybeDraft Product Uploader requires WooCommerce. Ensure WooCommerce is installed and activated under Plugins → Installed Plugins.

"API key is not configured"

Double-check that you entered your API key in Products → Uploader Settings for the exact provider selected, and that there are no accidental spaces before or after the key.

Product generation timed out

Check API credits: Make sure your provider account has available billing credits.
Use Fast Vision Models: Use Gemini 2.5 Flash or GPT-4o Mini for 10–25 second lightning-fast generations.
Image size: Ensure product photos are under 4–5 MB (JPG, PNG, or WebP).

Variable products (Sizes, Colors, Variants)

VybeDraft generates the core listing, description, visual attributes, and SKU structure. You can add your specific variation combinations (e.g. Small, Medium, Large) from the standard WooCommerce product editor after the draft is created.

SEO keyword not populating

VybeDraft auto-populates the SEO focus keyword field for Yoast SEO, Rank Math, and All in One SEO (AIOSEO). Make sure one of these plugins is installed and active.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my API key shared with VybeDraft?

No. Your API key is stored only in your own WordPress database and is sent directly to your chosen AI provider’s servers. We never receive or store your key.

Can I use multiple AI providers?

Yes — you can switch your active platform and model in Settings at any time. If you use OpenRouter, you can access models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek, Meta, and Qwen through a single OpenRouter API key.

Is there a post generation limit?

No. VybeDraft Pro has no artificial cap on posts. The only limits are those imposed by your AI provider’s rate limits and account balance.

Can I generate product info in other languages?

Yes. Add a language instruction to your Custom Master Prompt, such as: “Write all product descriptions in Spanish.” This applies to every generation, including CSV bulk runs.

Does it slow down my website?

No. VybeDraft runs exclusively inside the WordPress admin and does not load any scripts or styles on your public-facing website. Bulk jobs run in background threads to keep your admin panel responsive.
